Probably the most genuinely deranged song ever to reach the UK Top 10 from indisputably one of the greatest guitarists Britain has ever produced. Led Zeppelin amongst others owe him a lot. Green gave his possessions away and was lost to the music scene for many years. When I was a teenager he was a notorious sight around town. Apparently a homeless hobo he could be found lying at bus stops his fingernails encrusted in dirt. Remarkably he has since rehabilitated himself or been rehabilitated and is playing again. In any case he made some absolutely wonderful music. Incomparable!
