500 Greatest Albums of the 1980s ... Ranked! # 355 Ed Kuepper - Electrical Storm
Ed Kuepper. A legendary name. I don't know The Laughing Clowns or his own work at all. I listened to Electrical Storm. It's a frenetic, fervent record. Restless. A fine album..Forged on the anvil of Punk.
I was really into Ed Kuepper in the late 80s/early 90s. He was ridiculously prolific, too. Think I might have more of his albums than anyone else! Just counted 9, plus one he made more recently, called Second Winter, which was a reworking of some songs from Electrical Storm and another early album. Really good.
Thanks Bruce! I lost my mum a few weeks ago, so it's been quite tough. And a horrible year so far. However, I still read It Starts first thing every day, pretty much, so I have still been here!
Oh my gosh Darren. I'm so sorry. I was a bit worried about you actually. I've got so used to your comments and suggestions on here. I really value it. All the best in this journey. One that lies ahead of me personally and I don't like to think about. . My thoughts are with you.
