My rundown of 1985 is full of Indie also rans who put out great records that were general noticed by people like me Janice Long, Kid Jensen and John Peel. I don't think Peely played Prince. He was the star of the commercial heavens. With Michael Jackson. Madonna. Springsteen. But Prince was far more leftfield by instinct than any of them. He put this our in 1985.
