I've got the greatest of respect for PJ Harvey. She's far too smart for Rock & Roll. She can talk that talk and walk that walk as well as anyone when she wants to. But she's an artist apart. Listening to White Chalk this mornung was like chancing upon an undiscovered Bronte novel.
