Echoes starts. Where Bunnyman left us. The Bunnymen have formed . As a threepiece. Sergeant, McCulloch and Pattinson. And a drum machine they call Echo. They've played some gigs. Realeased a single on Zoo that has receoved great reviews. But they know something is missing.
Bill Drummond and David Balfe, who run Zoo Records, suggest Peter De Freitas. A Public School educated young guy, born in Trinidad, who is also a drummer. He comes up and demos with them in the basement of a friends. They are immediately bowled over and he signs up.
