Kah-Lo has plenty of the vim and vigour of Missy Ellliott and Kelis with little of their genius. Latest album Pain // Pleasure is full of obvious rhymes of self assertion and bragging that are validated by their funky rhythms and full on energy.
Some of the rhymns are so obvious and verging on the ludicrous that you mighr lack the staying power to make it to the end. Still in three minute bursts it's a good excuse for a crazed workout in your living room if that's what you're craving.
