I have always, always liked Bryan Ferry and what he does. Even when he drops slightly below his own high standards. Even when you suspect he's probably just a ghastly old Tory. Boys & Girls is self conscious consumerism. Glossy product to leave lying around on a coffee table as the vacuous but tastefully packaged record plays on yout classy system in your designer flat at a dinner party. I didn't play this all the way through. You get the idea early on. But it's Bryan Ferry isn't it, He's the guy you secretly wish you' been born.
