An EP today. I've been ploughing through great new albums that I've been discovering for the longest while but something else today. An arresting cover image. A man sittung at the window of a bar. Drowning a glass if beer. With two more in front of him. A look on his face that suggests he's got the weight of the world under his shoulders.
These are four songs of a melodic Indie hue. I was reeminded of The Beutiful South. Being cool was never ther immediate priority. They were more intent on reaching people.
Peter Hall used to be Director of The National Theatre. This is not that Peter Hall. But these four songs are sincere, reaching out and are worth listening to.
