Wistful Country reflections. Michael Hurley is one of the true stalwarts. A veteran of the Greenwich Village Folk Scene of the 60s and 70s. He's lived a truly remarkable life.
You can visualise him in his rocking chair on his porch on his latest album Sweetkorn. It's well titled. It's corny as corn.
But it's also learned and wistful. He's forgotten more than most of us will ever know.
