In another lifetime Wilco would have been the band for me I find I can choose pretty much any of their albums. Grab a mug of tea and a slice of cake and just let the record spin. I've known bad tempered people who have been to see Wilco and been unhappy that Jeff Tweedy was rather bad tempered during the concert. This strikes me as slightly rich! The man can do what he wants as far as I'm concerned.
A Ghost Is Born is instilled with holiness and grace.Tweedy takes over the lead guitarists role here as encouraged by Jim O'Rourke the album producer. You can hear the Television in the mix.But there's plenty else besides. I like listening to music by people I sense appreciate poetry
