Here's May Rio with her second album French Bath. Her first on vinyl. It's a statement. She's from New York, New York, lucky girl. May has the floating, womb-like voice that seems so particularly common in records like this. It sounds like she's on the process of being born.
The first thing that strikes me is how strong the songs are. This is a good record which is worth getting to know better. Most notably I thought of John and Yoko and their strange, floaty sound The record is short. Give it a listen.
