In addition to his acting, Anthony Perkins, (here Tony), also had a singing career. This was an American Top 40 hit for him in 1958 a few months after Nick Noble had had similar success with the original. Elvis kitsched it up on the Blue Hawaii soundtrack, but this is better, particularly as we now know Perkins was shortly off to Bates Motel. Something of a precursor in that respect to The Doors' Moonlight Drive.
