100 Mavericks # 73 Jobriath


Defiantly odd but undoubtedly deeply talented American Glam Rock would be star of the early seventies who was on the receiving end of an enormous record company marketing push but his country wasn't ready for him. Much loved by Morrissey, he was gone less than ten years later, an early victim of the AIDS virus. His self-titled first record is particularly worth tracking down.
