I recently discovered that Blue Flower, the best song from She Hangs Brightly, Mazzy Star's debut album was actually by Slapp Happy an early seventies prog-ish group featuring Peter Blegvad and Dagmar Krause later of Henry Cow. Here it is. There seems to be the hint of Velvet Underground guitar here, Waiting For Your Man, or I'll Be Your Mirror here, which is really accentuated in Mazzy Star's version.
