Because I'm going to see them tonight. Thanks to a complimentary ticket from my boss who is a Scouser and Ian McCulloch's brother's best friend. Should really have done this thirty years ago when I was a brooding teenager and they were pretty much my favourite band for a year or so before R.E.M. came along to supplant them. I imagine they won't do this. An early stand alone single which I think they kind of disowned. Not quite sure why because it sounds fine to me.
Stop Press: Gig has been called because McCulloch has a sore threat. Boo!
