Young London singer-songwriter William Blackby produces, winsome, acoustic driven songs in the tradition of The Shins, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon and oddly, the Beta Bend. His latest EP Everything's Delicious has five examples of this mindset.
Blackaby has a gift of melody and craft. None of these tracks are earth-shaking or astonishing but they are up my own street and I enjoyed listening to them. They seemed intent on taking something positive from experience and I'll be interested in hearing what comes next.
