Jonathan Fire*Eater, the late nineties pioneers of the whole Strokes New York City phenomenon had a fabulous garage sound. Here's a track of theirs at least somehow related to Prince apparently. From their genius statement Tremble Under Boom Lights which reignited the dormant energy of The New York Dolls and CBGBs so others could pick up the baton and run with it further down the line.
