To a very good and lifelong friend. My mate Andy. I could write a chapter about this friendship and perhaps will do. We played with the idea of forming a band / songwriting partnership while at university but it didn't happen. I had a couple of ideas for songs but it probably wouldn't have worked because it was barely formed and I'd already decided that R.E.M had already done what I'd have liked to have to have done much, much better than we ever could. Will always think of Andy in the same sentence as The Velvet Underground and here's one of their best. In, for me the definitive recording of it
