Thirty Days of C-86 # 1 Primal Scream

And here's the series. It's thirty one years ago and a small part of the United Kingdom independent scene is all fringes, leather trousers, polka-dot shirts and acned brows. We'll start it with Primal Scream and this, which remains to this day, one of their very best songs. The B-Side to early single Crystal Crescent, it's eighty two seconds long, but not a moment is wasted, managing to,' reduce the pop song to its subatomic essence: quick, breezy, quirky, and above all, exquisitely small.' Apparently it's in tribute to Edie Sedgewick.
