Last night, in a rather somber mood while thinking about this series, I was planning to post something more downbeat than this. But it's a new day, the sun is shining and this was first thing on the record player. I can't think of another artist who does quite what Nina Simone does. Not really being able to do her justice in writing I'll leave that to those who are more qualified and just post the song.
