Walking round town yesterday on a sunny Saturday afternoon, I popped into Newcastle's RPM records and they were playing Harvest and it made me pause and realise I hadn't listened to it for several years though it sounded pretty good on re-acquaintance. I imagine it was many people's first Neil Young purchase and it's so well known that to some degree I suppose it's become a bit of a cliche with hardcore fans passing it over for lesser known records. It's nevertheless, worth returning to once in a while. Here's the man talking about it and his refusal to just make it again and again.
