One of my big discoveries of this year. And it's over fifty years old. Judy Henske is a real cusp artist as history changes and the world winds on its way, who has never quite got the attention and respect she deserves. I'm personally half in love with her. Beatnik Queen! This particular song was devoured by the Hippie crowd and covered by Jefferson Airplane and Stephen Stills original band among numerous others over the following few years. Freedom was very much a going concern in the sixties. This though is the best version of all.
