Song of the Day # 499 Joannie Sommers

Of course I try to post good stuff up here and would stand by almost everything I have put up here. This, however, is just god awful as I'll freely admit. But as the byline on the blog is about music and memory, this is one of my strongest childhood musical memories. From my parents rather meager, and quite odd musical collection. They had this single for whatever reason and it's forever ingrained on my cranium. With one of those clean cut, almost sickly,  All American voices, cheery backing and a classic nonsense lyric about the boy next door. Enjoy, if you can.
