A Monday afternoon. Grey and overcast in Canterbury. Nothing better to than listen to When You Smiled & Turned Away the latest album from Melbourne Indie stalwarts, The Cat's Miaow. A band that have taken a 25 year hiatus after first putting out cassettes on the small Australian label Toybox. Anglo strumming in the vein of The Velvet Underground, The Go Betweens and The Sundays. Heaven clearly is a place on earth.
