500 Greatest Albums of the 2000's # 20 The White Stripes - Elephant

 

This is 50 minutes long. A pretty ideal length for a vinyl record. I bought it at the time on CD and played it a lot and liked it a lot though I never fell hard for White Stripes. I always found them easier to respect than adore. But this is pretty mean Rock & Roll and is difficult to knock in terms of its design, its appetite and execution.
