Leave Home is the Ramones album to die for. The cover. The tunes. It took me a while to realise the full genius of The Ramones. That this was essentially an art statement every much as Television or Patti Smith were.
It's funny and sharp and lean and mean. But also tender. It aches. It has a great sense of Pop History and where its going. You never really Leave Home.
