Rosy Overdrive has been my blog discovery of the year. They focus primarily on American Indie and cover records that I really like but wouldn't come across were it not for them. They've just published their top 100 albums for the year and I'll be going through it in the coming weeks plucking choice selections I haven't been aware of previously.
Number One in the chart is Fust's Big Ugly, It's a big beautiful New Americana C& W album . A kittle but Whiskeytown a little bit Uncle Volt, It's a record you grow into like a pair of shoes or an extended Sinday lunch with an old friend, U can understand why it's Number One in any chart.
Yeah, this was great, Bruce! Surprised I didn't mention it to you, but I need another listen myself now. Also, need to check out the Rosy Overdrive top 100. They have been a big discovery for me, too, this year.
