I 've had a great day's sailing on It Starts With a Birthstone. Happy ventures on a choppy sea. Three lessons down one to come at 16.00. One to go. Enough time to listen to Baxter Dury's Allbarone and tell you what I think about it here. .
Baxter is a great artist. Surely great enough by now to be considered in his own space. Allbarone. is a joy from the start Literate, witty. Conflicted masculinity. Danceable beats. Wit, wry humour and lots of fun. All the fun of the fair indeed.
Allbarone is a platter that matters. Great titles. Slabs of melody. Broad historical scope. This will get posted again when we get to December and It Starts With a Birthstone countdown for the year gets down to the serious stuff and we close in on the top twenty I'll warrant. .
