Car Seat Headrest's latest album The Scholars is a bold new Rock Opera apparently inspired by an apocryphal poem by Archbishop Guillermo Guadelupe Del Toledo. You certainly can't fault them for their ambition.
The bnd have become more adept musically since they made their initial splash.This is an intense, driven and multilayered album that is Indie in essence and Prog in scope and range.
