The sun's rising in the Newcastle sky. It's a Saturday morning and I have a playlist of songs, of albumss to listen to. All seems right with the world. But first I have Blue Distances by Wishbone Zoe to listen to.
Zosia Kochanski, for Wishbone Zoe is she, is a multimedia artistant. Blue Distances sees her mind and muse wander where it needs to go. It's a gentle place where 'Reclusive' rhymes with 'Massachusetts'
Anither fishy for a captain's dishy from Starbuck's AKA Darren Jones. Best fruend of It Starts With a Birthstone/ Another good one Darren.
Glad you liked it, Bruce! It's a nice wander, isn't it? Hope you have the new Florry album on your playlist. My pick of what came out yesterday, so far. I seem to be in a country/alt country mood at the moment!
ReplyDeleteWell onto that then. Thanks. I'm currently listening to The Discussion. That's quite atmospheric. A little generic perhaps. The Cure come to mind. I'm in a bit of a Soul mood at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bruce. I don't know them, although I'm not the biggest Cure fan. Will have a listen. I don't listen to enough Soul. Sometimes it really hits the spot.
DeleteIt's not in the surface necessarily like The Cure but that was the pervading sense I got after half an hour. Nice atmosphere.
