Leonard Cohen always did everything at his own, slow, measured pace. His parting was almost as graceful as everything else about him at a precise moment in history when the world seems to be plunging into an eerie, enveloping darkness. It's worth a reminder here with this song that Leonard knew very well that we'd all been here before.
