Song(s) of the Day # 654 Israel Nash

Nothing groundbreaking. Nothing earth shattering. Nothing you haven't heard before. But music is there to comfort just as much as it's there to shake you up. We all need a pair of slippers sometimes. This is a record that could easily have come out in 1972, in the slipstream of Harvest, but it's actually just out now. The neatly named album it's on is called Israel Nash's Silver Season. A great touch, putting yourself in the third person on your album title. Here are the first two tracks which will give you a good idea of what you'll get. Much doffing of caps to Mr. Young going on but very nicely done regardless. The adjective groovy comes to mind. Time for some cocoa. Oh hang on. Time for work!
