A big record from the time I was at university. Blue Nile's A Walk Across the Rooftops. I wasn't so keen on it at the time but a listen through to it on Friday convinced me of its merits. It's a fine, evocative album, old-school romance. I could post virtually anything off it as every song ticks similar boxes. You get these two. Perhaps marred ever so slightly by very eighties production values. Nevertheless, a great album to be listened to in November.
Quietly but forcefully one of my favourite bands. Their quality control is very high indeed.
