Land Ho !
January gains momentum and we gather pace and motor towards February. Up pops Starbuck on the bridge and dorects me twoards this, into a pretty room by lots of hands. Good work that man!
It's a hynotic percission and acoustic guitar driven piece of introverted Low Fi. From Newcastle apparently though I've never heard of them until just now.
Half muttered incoherent thoughts. Nothing is spelt out as so often on the best records, but the spell that's woven as a conseqyence us highly more-ish. Thanks Darren.
All hands on deck! Lots of them! Glad you liked it, Bruce. I came across them with the singles before Christmas, but the album is even more introspective than I imagined. I rather like it.
ReplyDeleteThey're playing tomorrow at The Cluny Darren. Highly tempted. Thanks so much !
ReplyDeleteOoh, nice. Could be interesting. Hard to know how the songs will translate to a live setting.
ReplyDeleteNot going. I would have but it's blowing up a proper storm up here.Shame.
ReplyDeleteShame, but definitely wise! I need no excuse to stay in. Got a couple of albums for you by Brown Dog and A.Dyjecinski. Also, new albums by The Lavender Flu and Rose City Band I need to check out.
