Now this is just great. Re-constituted Lover's Rock from a young American girl with a French name who chanced upon this stuff one day walking into a record shop off the Portobello Road where it happened to be playing. Hot Tears is an immediate small classic. It comes from her forthcoming debut album. Whether this thrill will translate to the larger format remains to be seen. This is more than enough for now.
