A couple of years back, young British band Porridge Radio released a debut album that received continual garlands from Beautiful Freaks, the blog listed on the right hand side of this page though I didn't see it gaining much broader recognition. It was determinedly teenage in its concerns, nothing wrong with that, I decided to give A Catcher in the Rye my ten year re-read yesterday and am enjoying it thoroughly thus far. Anyhow, two years on Porridge Radio are back with this, ahead you'd assume of their second album. They've moved on as you'd hope to late teen concerns and show some of the early cocksure self absorbed narcissism of early Cure here and also no little of their pop nous.
