New York based guitarist and singer who apparently makes no money from her work, relying instead on giving guitar lessons and working on her mum's e-bay site to help her get by. Listening to her stuff you can't altogether be surprised but personally I'm glad she does it nevertheless. This is fiercely uncompromised stuff, deep in the leftfield but pure and melodic at the same time.
