Virtually every band that emerges from London nowadays seems to have some kind of connection or relationship with Fat White Family . They really are small alternative kings at the moment. Phobophobes, who have belatedly just released their debut album Miniature World have very strong links with the Fat Ones. And it shows, for better and worse. Still hurting from the death of their guitarist George Russell who the clip above eulogises with the help of Will Self, the album has its moments, two of which I've posted here. It also has moments I don't care for, of Fat White Family like hubris, which I haven't.
