Song(s) of the Day # 1,147 Eddy Current Suppression Ring

My favourite recent discovery of a band I wasn't aware of during their time of putting out records a few years back. Australia's Eddy Current Suppression Ring. These three come from Primary Colours which came out in 2008. It's clear from the very first bars of opener Memory Lane that they understand. That loose, brash energy of The Heartbreakers, The Saints, Radio Birdman, Television, The Stooges. All of that wonderful stuff. As you listen through to the record that succeeds it you think. 'They've got another one. And another one. And another one!'. Loving, full throttle high-octane rock and roll..All the beauty of that brash seventies punk made alive. Pretty much everything they've done needs to be heard! And apparently the band are back together and playing festivals
