Magazine on Top of the Pops in 1978. A great moment! It gets cut short two minutes in just as John McGeoch kicks into his guitar solo. Such is life! There's a good review on the right side of this page of this blog about Magazine's two great albums, Real Life and The Correct Way of Using Soap. Slightly narcissistic on the part of the reviewer perhaps but positive reviews of Magazine, then and now, tend to drift towards pretentiousness when going about describing this still remarkable music.
