Saw Jane Weaver and her band play Newcastle last night. I have to say I was slightly disappointed. Perhaps my thoughts were slightly elsewhere, the band had some problems with their set up and there were times when I almost felt transported back to 1975, which is not altogether my favourite year musically such were the Hippie vibes. In any case it didn't quite get across the other-wordly glory of her latest record The Silver Globe which I'm much in thrall to at the moment and will write more of in due time. Here are just two moments from that fine album.
