My Girl the Month of May
Heard this, this morning for the first time before work and been thinking about it and Dion all day. It's two minutes fifteen seconds about being in love and happy to be alive. Not a moment's wasted. Dion & the Belmonts reunited in 1966 for the Together Again album pictured below. Reborn as folk rockers. It has that joyous, dawn of a new day ring to it like a few songs from that point in time have. Summer in the City, Child of the Moon and Happy Together spring to mind. Apparently it was a bit of a radio hit in the UK with Radio London and Kenny Everett in particular.
