250 Albums- An Arbitrary Rumble Through My Record Collection # 65 Cool Ghouls - Animal Races

 

Rock & Roll and Music by extension has the imaginative compass we all require. I'm listening to Animal Races by San Francisco's Cool Ghouls for the second time in a couple of a days. It transports me back ten years in time yo 2016 when I bought it in a shop called The Inkwell, just outside the York City walls .

2016  to 2026. Ten years. 1967 to 1976. Ten years. But more happened in the intervening time back then music wise I sense. Cool Ghouls seem pretty wedded to 1967 at heart and wrapped up by the Golden Psychedelic Dawn. This record is housed in a sleeve with a fully grown man and woman,  playing badminton starkers across a verdant stream. If I printed this image here I suspect I would be admonished by surveillance payroll guards.
