Parklife seems sttangely marooned thirty years on. I was in Germany at the time and bought it. Tracy Jacks and Parklife sounded strangely thrilling at the time. It felt like something was happening. They moved in from here to their Kinks and cocaine phases. To show everyone they could do Beatles better with Beetlebum Then Pavement, Grunge and Beck and The Specials, The Clash and Bowie.
