Susan Williams, also Stephen Wells or Swells, was a radical Marxist, a very funny men and one of the best writers on The NME in the Eighties and Nineties. He reviewed this book with the reasonable argument that the music business was no different from any other. 'Capitalism is oiled by bribery and thrives on deceit'. The rest of the review is witty and cynical and pretty much spot on. It doesn't really persuade you to go out and buy the book concerned. The clear implication is that its message is really blatantly obvious.
