Speaking about all that kind of stuff here come Interpol. I saw them in New York City in 2001. Playing with Walkmen, throwing those Post Punk shapes twenty years after the actual thing. Live I found them too derivative and slightly ridiculous to take seriously. It struck me as a pose. Of course Joy Division, Bunnymen and The Cure were a pose too. The record's fine. People need music like this.
