Too cool for school grooviness for London / Madrid based collective Bifannah, (though they sing in Portuguese), who tick all requisite hipster boxes on their latest record Dancas Liquidas.
Loose and liquid limbed as you could possibly want, the album is one smooth, seamless ride, situating itself somewhere between Samba, Tropicalia and West Coast Psych.
Bifannah have supported Allah Las and Mystery Braves recently and this makes perfect sense. They slot in perfectly with both band's modus operandi. To call them laid back would be something of an understatement. They barely break into a sweat.
Judged by the terms and conditions it applies to itself from the off Dancas Liquidas is pretty much a flawless album. A California bachelor pad with pool party. Living the dream.
