Mother of my Children, the splendid and very distinctive debut album from earlier on this year from Portland, Oregon based Katherine Paul a Native American from the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community who channels the rich cultural tradition she grew up in with her own personal concerns towards an affecting and atmospheric set of songs.
