You see it quite often in Rock & Roll. Quite a lot in life. John The Baptist and Jesus Christ. Two thousand years down the line Television and The Cars. Echo & The Bunnymen and U2. Orange Juice and Haircut 100. Pixies and Nirvana. The Strokes and The Killers.
It's how the record companies and the music business works but its how bands work too. Hot Fuss is Hot Stuff. It keeps the executive behind the desk happy and the kids on a first date at the back of the Midwest Arena happy too. You can't fault this. It hits its marks. It rings the cash tills. It's great Pop Muisc.
