So while I 'immerse' myself in Love, on Temporary Fandoms, here's a connection. Bobby Beausoleil, who auditioned unsuccessfully to join the band and went on to infamy as a Manson acolyte and convicted murderer. He is still incarcerated and I imagine, likely to remain so. American Indie stalwarts Doleful Lions, who recorded this song, are fabulous, and well worthy of further investigation.
